MATH 0702 · Fall 2026

How we use your data

This site records how you use the practice exercises, to help you learn and to improve the exercises. It does not affect your grade.

What is recorded

the email you sign in with, and when you sign in;
for each exercise: when you press Check, and whether the answer was right or wrong;
when you open or close a guided solution.

The answers you type are not saved. There is no advertising and no tracking by other websites.

Why

to see which topics are difficult and explain them better in class;
to offer help to students who are struggling;
to improve the exercises and the guided solutions.

It is never used for grading.

Who can see it

Your instructor and the Temple University Rome academic staff who support the course. Outside Temple Rome, only anonymous summaries are shared (for example “most students found topic X difficult”), never names or emails.

Anonymous results

Anonymous, aggregated results (never names or emails) may also be used in presentations and publications about teaching, and to improve teaching materials and learning tools, including tools the instructor develops and offers outside Temple University.

Where it is kept, and for how long

The site and its data are hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers may be outside the European Union. Your data are kept only as long as they are needed for the course and for reviewing how the exercises worked; after that they are deleted or made anonymous.

Cookies and other services

The site uses one cookie, only to keep you signed in. Fonts (Google Fonts) and the math display (MathJax, via jsDelivr) are loaded from other services, which receive your IP address like any website you visit.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data or to have it deleted, at any time, by writing to your instructor through the Canvas Inbox of the course.
